Cactus Club Cafe – Surrey
The chicken teriyaki rice bowl with mixed vegetable and red cabbage was really delicious. The spicy yogurt mixed into the rice could be left out as it changed the character of the meal and became the dominant flavour.
Ocean Park Pizza – Ocean Park
The butter chicken was perfect, the rice didn’t have any Indian spice and it looked like they were trying to make saffron rice but failed. The bread was not Naan but more like a Greek pita. It was good to dip the curry sauce in. I was quiet satisfied and full oh and the Malbec was a perfect pairing.

Jean Bousquet Malbec (Organic) was surprising to see on the drinks list considering the place I’m in. Very nice colour and good legs, will be enjoying this with butter chicken soon.
Black Tuna – White Rock
Fantastic chicken teriyaki.
