Montana’s Cookhouse – Halifax
Starting with Richards White with orange slice in it. Friendly greeter and friendly waitress so far so good. Ordered Firecracker burger with sweet potato fries with chipotle dip.
Boston Pizza – Dartmouth
Decided to sit in the bar/lounge area. Had to wait about 10 minutes for the server to see us. It took 20 minutes or longer but we had beer to tie us over.
Ordered the Deluxe pizza (medium)
Pizza was good and if you add the chili peppers from the shaker it is fantastic.
McDonalds – Elmsdale
I had to try McDonalds cappuccino to see if it was as good as Starbucks. It was fantastic and currently on promo for $1 dollar. As a specialty coffee addict the price and taste is perfect.
King Wah Restaurant – Halifax, NS
Very nice staff, I was working late and saw the open sign and went in. I was 7 minutes after 10:30pm closing but they said they will still make my late dinner. Nice and spicy, and delicious. It is C5 on the menu.
Durty Nelly’s – Halifax
I sat down in the lounge area for at least 10 minutes without being served, there was a large gathering in the back having an office Christmas party. Once I was served the drink and food came very quickly. I had a Smith Wicks and chicken tenders with thai chili sauce. Beer was perfect temperature, chicken tenders were fried to perfection, and the breading was panko style. The thai chili sauce has a perfect balance of sweet and spice. Recommend this for a light lunch or snack.
Bramosa Gourmet Pizzeria – Halifax
If you like fresh garlic and stinky cheese well you will love this but not anyone around you will appreciate your stench! ha ha oh and as usual Malbec goes well with this.
Sahla Thai – Truro
Ordered from the full meal section, you get thai rice with the Cashew Chicken which has all the flavour and not to spicy with only 1 chill rating, I thought the ginger chicken was my favourite dish but this is a strong tie.
Bramosa Gourmet Pizzeria – Halifax
Fire oven pizza, OMG it was good. Highly recommend this pizza place in Halifax area.
This one is called Brawny Bramoso, feast your eye on this and yes Malbec wine goes really well with it.
Cactus Club Cafe – Surrey
The chicken teriyaki rice bowl with mixed vegetable and red cabbage was really delicious. The spicy yogurt mixed into the rice could be left out as it changed the character of the meal and became the dominant flavour.
